We never know what someone is going through. Everyone is fighting some kind of battle. But, one kind word can make someone's day a little brighter.

Our Bible verse says, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you." Ephesians 4:32

When we remember how much the Lord has forgiven us, we should be quick to forgive each other. Let's be kind and compassionate to everyone we come in contact with.

Send Faith

When we live in a personal relationship with God, we do not need to fear. When fear knocks on our door, and it will at times, we just answer it by our faith in God.

Our Bible verse says, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control." 2 Timothy 1:7 BSB.

I have repeated this verse many times when I've felt fear. But, because of our relationship with God, we understand that God gives us power, love, and self-control. He does not give us a spirit of fear.

When fear knocks on your door, send faith to answer it.

Beautiful Things

Never Miss a Chance

We all have opportunities to show God's love and say kind words. I have used those opportunities at times, but I've missed them too.

Oh, I have some hair-brain excuses. "What will they think?" is one. Will they take my attempt to be kind as intended or another way?

I've seen ladies who I think look really nice. I've thought, "Oh, they know they look good; why should I tell them." But, instead, I've been pleasantly surprised at the reaction I've gotten when I compliment a stranger. They always smile and seem grateful someone noticed.

Do Your Part

There are many people offended by one thing or another. They are not at peace with themselves or other people. When we have peace on the inside, we can live peacefully with others.

If we want to live in peace, we have a big part to play. We have to do everything possible on our part to live at peace with everyone. I believe everyone includes ourselves.

When you find peace within yourself, you become the kind of person who can live peacefully with others.

A Plan For You

When we trust that God has a good plan for our lives, we know we always have hope for the future.

Doesn't it make you feel good when someone greets you with a smile? When we have the joy of the Lord inside of us, it should show in our faces.

When we think about all of the things the Lord has given us to be joyful about, it should put a cheerful look on our faces.

Another Level

Most people say they believe in God. Not all, I know, but most. However, believing in God is one thing. It's another level when you put all of your trust and hope in the LORD for your life.

When we put all of our hope and trust in the LORD, we will be strong and courageous. This is because we know that our life today and through eternity all depend on Him.

It's one thing to believe in God. It's something else to put your hope and trust in Him with your life.

Complain and Remain

For our hearts to be like a calm lake, we can do our part by not complaining. Complaining doesn't do any good. It only keeps us in a negative mood, and we complain and remain.

Being content doesn't seem to come naturally. We have to learn to be content. I don't know about you, but I'm still learning. So I don't want to complain and remain.

Strong in Your Inner Self

Boy, wouldn't it be nice if we had an easy life? But let's face it, we all have troubles in our lives. So since we have problems, how about praying for the strength to face each one with a good attitude.

Our Bible verse says, "I ask God from the wealth of His glory to give you power through His Spirit to be strong in your inner selves." Ephesians 3:16 GNT

If you ever studied Paul's prayers, you will find he never prayed for an easy life. Instead, he always prayed that the people would be strong in their inner selves. We can pray the same thing.

When we are firm in our inner selves, the outer things in life won't bother us as much.

Don't pray for an easy life. Instead, pray for inner strength to face all that comes with a good attitude.

Hopeful and Confident

If we want to stay hopeful and confident, we need to keep our focus. The best way to keep our focus is to keep looking to the Lord.

When we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, our faith will stay strong, and we will be hopeful and confident.

Blessing Business

Many Bible verses tell us that God is in the blessing business. For example, James 1:17 tells us, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above."

Today's Bible verses say, Your kindness and love will always be with me each day of my life. My cup overflows with blessings. Psalm 23:5&6

We need to stay aware of all of the good gifts and the many blessings God gives us each day. Our cups are all overflowing with blessings if we only pay attention.

God is in the blessing business.

Who Cares?

This verse does not say give some of your worries and care to God. It says to give all of your worries and care to God. It's interesting how we seem to love to hold on to things that bother us. Like we enjoy having something to feel sorry for ourselves about. But, we don't have to. We can give all of our worries and cares to God and feel better about our lives.

Nothing feels better than knowing God loves you, that He is always there for you, and that He will always care for you.

No Fear of Losing

When I read this quote this morning, it stuck out. Our happiness must depend on something we have no fear of losing. When we know who and whose we are, we know we are loved with everlasting love. This is a love we can not lose.

When we are confident of God's love and that we are His children, this gives us happiness. God's love is something we can depend on.

Dr. George's Dental White

Last week I went to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned and X-rays. This is not something I look forward to because I usually have something wrong. I ate Twizzlers for years, and let's just say they are not the best for your teeth.

Anyway, I had a new dental hygenist. This new gal asked if I wanted to know what my usual hygienist had written. I wasn't sure I wanted to or not, but I said, "Go ahead, and tell me." What was written in my chart was, "Excellent dental hygiene!" YAY!

This appointment got even better when I was told I had the whitest teeth she had ever seen in her 10 years of being a hygienist. She asked what I used, and I told her Dr.George's Dental White. I used to buy it at Walgreens, but they stopped carrying it. You can buy it online now directly from the company in England.

This dental appointment was the best one I've had in many years. I didn't need any new crowns or anything! I'm so happy, and I'm pleased to recommend Dr. George's Dental White with anyone who likes white teeth.

Learn to Remember the Good
