Don't let your happiness depend on something you may lose. ~ C.S. Lewis ~
When I read this quote this morning, it stuck out. Our happiness must depend on something we have no fear of losing. When we know who and whose we are, we know we are loved with everlasting love. This is a love we can not lose.
Our Bible verse says, "See how very much our Father loves us, for He calls us His children, and that is what we are!" 1 John 3:1 NLT.
When we are confident of God's love and that we are His children, this gives us happiness. God's love is something we can depend on.
Don't let your happiness depend on something you may lose.
