We've all be in tough situations. When we say, "Why me?" it makes us feel pitiful and weak. However, when we say, "Try me!" this attitude helps us feel in control and strong!

When we're in tough situations remember we have power, love and sound judgment! God has not given us fear! Now take control!

We can and should be strong and courageous as we go through life. We don't need to be discouraged when we know the LORD is with us wherever we go.

I read a story about a parent going to a parent/teacher conference. The teacher started to go over the child's grades etc. What was interesting to me was the parent's response. She made the point that the child's ability to learn math would come, but what she cared about most was how her child treated the other children in her class.

We all know in life it's not how high of grades you received in school that's important. What is important, in my opinion, is what kind of person you are.

I have been blessed with caring people in my life. I met a woman yesterday for the first time. She was just the person I needed to talk to. She listened with understanding and made me feel cared about.

Yesterday I was online talking about Wright's Bakery with total strangers. We didn't know each other but we did have one thing in common. We all had sweet memories of the delicious baked goods we ate at Wright's Bakery when we were children.

This verse does not say to be kind only if you're having a sun-filled day. it says to just be kind and compassionate. To me, that means to be kind regardless of the weather.

Patiently Waiting

Yesterday we took a trip up north to spray "Wet & Forget" on the cemetery stones. I watched the YouTube and it appeared to me I could see immediate results. However, when I read the instructions it said it would take 2 to 3 months. What? I like to see immediate results!

It looks like if you stay hopeful you can wait patiently. I am hopeful to see good results at some point in the future. I'm going to keep this hopeful thought in my mind. I'm feeling more relaxed and patient already. :D

Since we had mowed our yard using a push mulching mower we were wondering why our neighbors had not mowed their yard. We hadn't had any problems even though we had been having plenty of rain.

Yesterday we found out why they hadn't mowed when some guys showed up with those heavy professional mowers and made a big mess of their backyard.

Free To Be Me
