Last night I woke up and was holding hands with Bill. It was a simple thing but I knew some people would give anything to be able to hold hands with someone one last time. We often take the simple things in life for granted.
Our Bible verse says, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." John 10:10 ESV
I believe when we neglect to see the simple things in life we are allowing the thief to steal the abundant life Jesus died to give us. When we see simple things as priceless treasures we truly live an abundant life.
