The Big Winner

We had some excitement in our neighborhood when a hot air balloon landed on our street a couple weeks ago. It brought back a special memory.

The pictures show that this special memory happened many years ago.

The phone rang, and a girl asked if I remembered signing up for a night on the town along with a hot air balloon ride at the Kentucky State Fair. She went on to tell me I was the big winner.

I can tell you this was a great memory. We had an awesome experience riding in the balloon with a steak dinner, drinks, and dancing.

I am so thankful for this unique experience. It was a gift I will never forget.
