I hadn't thought about a smile being an action of love, but it sure is. When we smile at people it puts them at ease. They feel comfortable around us. This is a gift and a beautiful thing.
Our Bible verse says, "My children, our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action." 1 John 3:18 GNT
True love doesn't just talk. It shows itself in action. Every time we smile at someone it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.
