The Bible's definition of hope is the positive expectation that something good will happen. It's not some wishy-washy thing that maybe something good will happen.

Our Bible verse says, May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Romans 15:13 ESV

Our God is a God of hope! He will fill us with joy and peace in believing. So by the power of His Spirit, we may abound in hope! Wow, what a way to live!
