Our mind is very powerful. We can tell how our day will go just by what we're thinking about all day. If we have a pity party, we've set ourselves up for a miserable day. But we can choose to have a good day no matter what our circumstances are by changing our thoughts.
Our Bible verse says. Fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, and right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8
If we fix our thoughts on what is excellent and worthy of praise, we will be living the abundant life Jesus died to give us. It wouldn't matter what was going on because we would be thinking about things that were excellent and worthy of praise.
