"No Cancel"

Yesterday was a heartbreaking day for our grandson, Noah. For months he's been telling me how he was going to go on a vacation to Florida on his birthday. However, yesterday that vacation was canceled.

As most of you know Noah is Autistic and he did not take this news very well. He was devastated and was crying his eyes out. For some reason, he decided he should write Governor DeWine a note, which he did.

This note was short and to the point! It read, "Noah No cancel" Shannon put this note in an envelope and Noah put it in the mailbox.

Martin Luther said, "The fewer the words the better the prayer."

Our Bible verse says, "When you pray, don't talk on and on as people do who don't know God. They think God likes to hear long prayers." Matthew 6:7 CEV

Maybe we need to remember that we don't need to go on and on when we pray. The Lord knows our hearts.
