This Is Real Love

It's almost unbelievable that God loves each one of us even in our darkest times. I've felt God's' love in one of the darkest times in my life.

I wasn't always a Christian. In fact, I was very far from it! One night I was in a house where all of the rooms were painted black. It was a very dark time in my life. I went into the bathroom alone. As I was there the song, "Jesus Loves Me This I Know" came to my mind. Even in my darkest times when I didn't love Him, He broke through that darkness and demonstrated that He still loved me.

Our Bible verse says, "This is real love—not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins." 1 John 4:10

Jesus is saying to each one of us, I loved you at your darkest even when you didn't love Me.
