Quite honestly it is not just another day. Anyone who has a child die knows that the day they left this earth is not just another day. No matter how much you may want it to be, just another day, it just isn't.
Our Bible verse says, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5:4 NIV
God does bless those who mourn in many different ways. He blesses them with people who honestly show love and are caring. He blesses you with eyes to see life in a totally different way. He blesses you with the ability to not take a day for granted. The list goes on and on.
