Did you ever think that by being kind to someone who has been unkind to you held power? I never thought about it until recently.
It's easy to be kind to people who are kind to us. However, it's not so easy to be kind to people who have mistreated us. But it's in this area where we hold the most power. Using this power to be kind sets us free.
Our Bible verse says. I’m telling you to love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. If all you do is love the lovable, do you expect a bonus? Anybody can do that. Matthew 5:44 Message Bible
When we are kind to people who haven't been kind it's really a benefit to us. If we only show kindness to people we love anyone can do that.
