When I read this I thought about ourselves as well. When we stop expecting ourselves to be perfect we can like ourselves for who we are.
Our Bible verse says, "There is no one on earth who does what is right all the time and never makes a mistake." Ecclesiastes 7:20 GNT
We can stop expecting people, including ourselves, to be perfect because there is no one on earth who doesn't make a mistake.
When you stop expecting people to be perfect, you can like them for who they are.
