People oftentimes forget that it is our own choice of how we want to spend the rest of our lives. For example, if we live being jealous this is the result of counting someone else's blessings instead of our own. If we want to be happy we need to count our own blessings.
Our Bible verse says, "The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life." John 10:10
To live the rich and satisfying life that gives us happiness we need to pay attention to the inward disposition of our minds.
