Bill and I have been on a road trip. We made no reservations we just took off to see the west. We started off in Michigan and went to Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska. We traveled around 4,800 miles.
We went to Vail and checked out the town. We almost stayed at a Bed and Breakfast there. However, after meeting the homeowner we changed our minds. He wanted us to remove our shoes and put on some used crocs. The atmosphere was interesting. I was expecting the hash pipe and incense to be brought out next. 
The saw the Rocky Mountains, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Crazy Horse, Mt Rushmore, Black Hills, Bad Lands, St Lewis Arch, University of Nebraska, the town of Hays, Sturgis and Joyce Meyer headquarters. We even went past Kaysville. I think we should have found a room there, but we didn't.
All in all, it was a great trip! We saw the sights and had no trouble finding a place to spend the night.
