Our choices and our actions affect our entire life. These two go hand in hand. We can make a choice to do something but if we don't put action to it we go nowhere.
Our Bible verse says, "For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Ephesians 2:10 NLT
We have been created to do good things. It's our choice to take action to work the plan God has for each of us.
