It's nice when someone praises us and gives us credit for something we're doing. But in reality, these compliments are few and far between. We need to do our best whether anyone notices or not.
Today's Bible verse puts this clearly. "Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won't need to compare yourself to anyone else." Galatians 6:4 NLT
When we do our best we do get the satisfaction of a job well done. We won't need to compare ourselves with others.
