I had a phone call this morning from a dear friend. For the last year, I knew her husband, Doug, was battling cancer. Doug's on IM and I sent him little messages daily in hopes they would make him smile. I learned today that Doug has passed on.
Our Bible verse says, "Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes." James 4:14
We sure don't know what tomorrow will bring or even if we'll be here tomorrow. So let's make today count.
