This morning our grandson Eli age 7 is starting something new. He is going to learn to ice skate.
Today's Bible verse is a good one to say when we start something new. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9
Every one of us has started something new in our lives. We know that doubt, fear, and worry will only slow us down. When we know the Lord is with us we can be strong and courageous. I hope Eli will be strong and courageous and he'll celebrate every step of the way.
