If you're a talker like I am you may need more than three gatekeepers, but these three cover about everything.
Our Bible verses today say, Set a guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips. Psalm 141:3 NIV May the words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14
Personally, I think what we say starts with the meditations of our heart. We no doubt have thought about it before we actually say it. We can ask the Lord to put a guard over our mouth so what we say will be true, kind and necessary.
