We can not always choose what happens to us as we live our lives, that's true. But how we respond not only impacts us, but it also has an impact on others.
Today's Bible verse says, "Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!" Deuteronomy 30:19 NLT
Our choices make a big difference, not only for us, but also for people around us and our families down the line. We can't always choose what happens, but how we respond is up to us.
