We should not feel bad for making a decision about your own life that may upset other people. We're responsible for our own happiness, not theirs. Our life is the result of our choices.
God has a plan for each of our lives according to Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
We have a future full of hope! We don't have to allow negative opinions to stop us from being the person we were created to be and working the plan God has for our lives.
