Inspiring Others

Last night I was chatting online with a special friend, Nadia. What's interesting is that we have never met in person. Yet, this sweet friend has inspired me.

Nadia is in a wheelchair. She has had many surgeries since she was born. Yet she made a statement that inspired me and brought tears to my eyes.

Here's what she said. "God's grace makes kids resilient. I remember praying to God, thanking him for my disability because it kept me close to Him."

How many of us would thank God for our disability because it kept us closer to Him?

God can use our trials and troubles to draw us closer to Him if we will let Him. I know I drew closer to God when Todd died.

Our Bible verse says, As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend. Proverbs 27:17 NLT

Nadia sharing her story inspired me! I hope it inspired you to continually draw closer to God.
