There is a vast difference between condemnation and conviction.
Years ago, I learned the difference, and it set me free!
In contrast, condemnation originates from the devil or negative self-talk, is general and attacks a person's identity, and leads to shame, guilt, hopelessness, and separation from God.
Jesus already paid the price for all of our sins. Never forget that!
Our Bible verses say. But if we confess our sins to God, He can always be trusted to forgive us and take our sins away. 1 John 1:9
As far as the east is from the west, so far does He remove our sins from us. Psalm 103:12 "I, I am the one who blots out your transgression for My own sake, and I'll remember your sins no more. Isaiah 43:25. “I (Jesus) tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.” John 5:24
Our sins are forgiven for God's sake. He wants us to live freely. We won't live this free life if we are always feeling guilty. Remember where guilt comes from! Jesus paid for us to live an abundant life.
