Be Free! ~ God's Truth Sets Us Free Quotes~

I will never forget the day I was in bed studying the Bible and hit on a verse that set me free! I was so excited that I jumped out of bed, ran out, and read it to Bill, who was watching TV.

Here are the verses. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8&9 NIV

Wow! There is nothing we can do to earn eternal life! Nothing! Not keeping the big 10 or even sitting in a pew, or any of our good works that anyone could boast! God's grace is a gift! We accept this gift that Jesus has done for us by faith!

Then I saw the verse. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free! I saw the truth, and I was set free; I will never forget that night!
