When bad things happen, we have a choice about what we cling to. It's not that we don't recognize evil—we do—but we can overcome it by doing good.

Our Bible verses say. Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Romans 12:9 Don't let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good. Romans 12:21

There we have it. Evil is present in this world, but we do not need to be conquered by it. We can conquer it by doing good and keeping our love sincere.
