Inner and Outward Life

The older you get, the more you realize you have an inner and outer life. Inside, you feel the same but don't look the same, and you may be slowing down more.

I remember my old friend Dimple telling me she hardly recognized herself when she looked in the mirror. I always got a kick from her saying she was "Pushing 100." But Dimple's inner life was growing stronger every day.

Our Bible verse says. Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:14 NIV.

We have an inner and outer life. We all know that our outer life is not going to last. However, we will not lose heart because our inner life is renewed daily with the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, do not lose heart!
