A Powerful Place

We carry a significant emotional burden when we choose not to forgive. We hold grudges, and we become bitter and angry. Forgiveness gives us power, and it frees us.

Our Bible verse says. Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” Luke 23:34

People often want to know what someone's last words were before they passed away. As Jesus hung on the cross, His last words were to ask His Father to forgive the people who had hurt Him. There is a valuable lesson to be learned from this.
