It is important how we talk to ourselves. We all do it. I helped a lady who had had a stroke. She spoke out loud to herself whenever she needed to remember something. She said talking out loud enabled her to remember why or what she was going to do.

That's one reason to talk to yourself, but we also need to say positive things and be kind to ourselves because we are listening.

Our Bible verses say. I trust in You, O LORD; My times are in Your hands. Psalm 31: 14&15.

Knowing our times are in the LORD's hands, we can be optimistic about ourselves. No matter what happens, we can trust the LORD and say, "My times are in the LORD's hands."
