How do you see yourself? ~ Our Own Eyes Quotes ~

This is an important question to ask ourselves as we journey through life: Do you view yourself as God sees you?

The Bible contains many stories of people who didn't have excellent opinions of themselves. Gideon was one such person. While hiding, he was told he was a mighty man of valor! The Israelites saw themselves as grasshoppers; others saw them the same way.

Our Bible verses say. "The Angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon and said to him, 'The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!" Judges 6:12 We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes and looked the same to them." Numbers 13:33

There you have it. There's a warning to us regarding how the Israelites saw themselves. When we negatively see ourselves, others also see us that way. The Angel of the LORD told Gideon who he really was while Gideon was afraid and hiding.

The LORD is with us! Because He is, we can always have a good opinion of ourselves.
