Our greatest freedom is the freedom to choose our attitude. ~ Viktor Frankl ~
It is freedom to choose our attitude instead of allowing our emotions to run our lives.
I heard a message last week about Jesus' attitude toward his betrayal situation. Jesus' disciples wanted to fight these men who came to arrest Him. But Jesus said, "Don't you know that I could call on my Father for help, and at once, He would send Me more than twelve armies of angels?" Matthew 26:53
Jesus had a choice about what kind of attitude He would have to handle this situation. He said I could... but He chose not to. He could have followed His emotions, but He chose the right attitude.
Our greatest freedom is the freedom to choose our attitude.
