When I started to study the Bible, I used colored pencils and highlighted things that stood out. One thing that stood out was how many times the words "In Christ" I highlighted.

I didn't understand what "In Christ" exactly meant. But I still highlighted it repeatedly because I knew this must be important.

Over time, I started to see text like this. "For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ." 2 Corinthians 5:21

It's not about my good work or behavior. It's about Christ, and in Him, we are made right. Our eternal value and life all depend on being In Him.
