It Starts At Home

This week we had 2 of our grandsons visiting. We did fun things, but we also had them help do choirs around the house. It's essential for children to feel a part of the family, and they do when they help out. Doing chores teaches children that work is a privilege, not a punishment.

Our Bible verse says. Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

If we don't want some entitled brat, we must train our children how we want them to go. When we do, they will be responsible adults.

Our children will only become responsible if they have responsibility. And like everything else, that starts at home.
