Living In Hope

We can ask the Lord to help us live each day in hope. But what I find interesting is what happens to our emotions when we live this way. Being hopeful keeps up calm and expecting the best.

This week I have been going through my yearly check-up. Even though I know I do my part to keep healthy by exercising and eating, for the most part, healthy, I still tend to feel apprehensive when I go to the doctor and have blood work done.

I'll be 73 next month. I have been blessed to not need to take any RX drugs. I do take vitamins, but that's it. We had blood work done this morning. So I am asking the Lord to help me live in the hope that everything will be okay. I know I've done my part to stay healthy, so now I wait, living in hope.

Lord, help me to face today living in hope.
