Imagine if we did train our minds to see the good in everything. We would surely live the life Jesus' died to give us.

Our Bible verse tells us how to do this. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8 NLT

There ya go! The Lord would not tell us to think like this if He didn't give us the power to do it. Then, we can train our minds!
