We've all been through tough times in our lives. But I have found that God's presence gave me joy no matter what I was going through. I look back, and I don't know how I didn't lose my mind, but somehow, the joy of the Lord gave me strength.

I had this Bible verse on the mirror in the bathroom. The Joy of the Lord is My Strength. Nehemiah 8:10

I read this verse repeatedly, knowing that the Lord's joy would be my strength for that day.
