This is so true. When we read this quote, we may think about material things. But this quote can mean more than that. We can't give away real love if we have never accepted it for ourselves.
When we accept God's love for us, this acceptance of His love makes it possible to love Him, ourselves and others. On the other hand, if we never believe God loves us, it's tough to love ourselves or others unconditionally. We love because He loved us first!
