What's it going to be? How do we want to live our lives? Do we want to be pitiful or powerful? We can't be both! So the choice is up to us.

Our Bible verse says, Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13 NLT

We must be on guard to stand firm in our faith. We're called to be courageous and strong, not pitiful! It's easy to fall into self-pity, but where does that get us? Nowhere fast!

You can be pitiful or powerful.
