If a person doesn't even like themselves, how can they love anyone else? We can not give away something we don't have. So we need to love ourselves in a balanced way. But not be in love with ourselves. Personally, I think we should love ourselves because God loves us.
Our Bible verse says. The whole law can be summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Galatians 5:14 NLT
I think this is very interesting. The whole law is summed up in this one command. "Love your neighbor as yourself." It's imperative to have a respectful love for ourselves.
