Are You Listening?

I believe we need to listen and pay attention to the still, small voice. When I look back on my life, I see clearly where the Lord spoke to me. Each time I listened and acted on the message, something amazing happened.

What's interesting in my case is that the message I received didn't make sense to my natural mind most of the time. For those who know my stories, burying the bird, going to the corn stand, etc., did not make sense. But when I did each thing, I saw awesome results.

Our Bible verse says, After the earthquake, there was a fire--but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire, there was the soft whisper of a voice. 1 Kings 19:12 GNT

The world's voices scream! But the LORD speaks in a soft whisper of a voice. We need to be quiet to hear Him. I believe He whispers because He is always very close to us. Are you listening?
