As I studied the Bible, I was astonished that the Christian faith was not a big DO but a big DONE. I actually thought it was a work program that I was not interested in doing.
Our Bible verse was an eye-opener to me. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8 NIV
It's all about grace! It's not something we DO for ourselves. It's a DONE deal and a gift of God. So now we rest in what Jesus has DONE.
