Benefits After We Pray

There is nothing more valuable to give a friend than a silent prayer on their behalf. ~ Blessed When We Pray For Others Quotes ~

The Bible is so interesting because it points out things we should do, but it sometimes doesn't tell us the benefits. However, Job's story tells us a blessing Job received after praying for his friends.

Our Bible verse says, After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10 NIV

If you know the story, Job's friends weren't very encouraging to him in his time of distress. So I doubt that Job felt like praying for them. However, Job was blessed after he did pray for them.
