I guess I had never thought about kindness and compassion leading to forgiveness before. If we thought about others with kindness and understanding, it would be easy to forgive.
Our Bible verse says, "Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32 NASB
This verse tells us to be kind, compassionate and forgiving to each other. If we actually thought about all God in Christ has forgiven us for, we would quickly forgive. So let's face it, you and I will never have to forgive anyone more than God in Christ have forgiven us.
Kindness and compassion lead to forgiveness.
