We Are The Gardeners

by Kay Heitsch

Our bodies are our gardens to which our wills are gardeners.
~ William Shakespeare ~
We are in charge of how we take care of our bodies. We decide what we're going to put in them and what we will do to keep them healthy.
The older I get, the more I need to exercise and stretch not to feel stiff and sore. I know what foods I can eat that cause me problems, and I avoid them.
Our Bible verse says, Thank You for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. Psalm 139:14
God has made us wonderfully complex. Each person is unique and is precious in God's sight. Therefore, it's important to take care of what God has made.
Our bodies are our gardens to which our wills are gardeners.
