It's interesting how fear can corrode our confidence in God's goodness. There was a time when I was so fearful that I developed a nosebleed. The following Bible verse came to my mind as my head was in the sink with blood flowing out of my nose.
This Bible verse changed my thinking. For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 BSB.
When I realized God had not given me this spirit of fear, my confidence in God returned. I knew He would give me His power, love and help me use self-control to do whatever He called me to do.
