Life is short. Too many times, we waste it on being angry or sad. Why waste the short life we have? Let's be happy and enjoy the life Jesus died to give us.
This Bible verse changed my thinking. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." John 10:10 ESV
When I realized I was allowing the thief to steal the good life Jesus died to give me, I put my foot down! I wasn't about to waste the abundant life Jesus died to give me by being angry or sad.
Life is short. Don't waste it being angry or sad. Be happy and enjoy the life Jesus died to give you.
