Today is the National Day of Prayer. There are a lot of things we can pray regarding our country.
Our Bible verse says, First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made on behalf of all people for rulers and for everyone who has authority over us. Pray for these people so that we can have a quiet and peaceful life always lived in a godly and reverent way. 1 Timothy 2:1&2
The Bible is clear that we are to pray for everyone, and that includes those who have authority over us. We pray so that we can have a quiet and peaceful life.
