Wow, if this isn't the truth! How many times are we tempted a day? We're tempted to get mad, we're tempted to have a pity party, we're tempted to eat something when we aren't hungry, we're tempted to tell someone off. The list goes on and on...
Our Bible text says, "Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!” Matthew 26:41 NLT
This verse was an eye-opener for me. If we pay attention and pray ahead of time we might not give in to temptation so quickly.
