People communicate in many different ways. We do not always need to use words. This is true in our spiritual lives as well.

Sometimes in prayer, we don't know what to say. We may be heartbroken over something or we just don't know what we should be praying for.

Our Bible verse says, "In the same way, the Spirit also comes to help us, weak as we are. For we do not know how we ought to pray; the Spirit Himself pleads with God for us in groans that words cannot express." Romans 8:26 GNT

It's great to know that even when we can't put something into words the Spirit prays for us. He hears what isn't said.

The most important thing in communication is hearing what isn't said.
