I'm not sure how this happens but I believe it has to do in part with how we view life. Some people only look for the negative in life. They see the flaws in everything. While others also see the flaws but they try to see what good can come out of a negative situation.
Our Bible verse says, "If you search for good, you will find favor; but if you are looking for trouble, that is what you will get. Proverbs 11:27
Sometimes we have to search for the good in a situation. However, if we choose to look for the negative that is what we will see.
